Mark "Pathfinder" Epstein

Mark “Pathfinder” Epstein grew up in Worcester, Massachusetts, where he fostered a love of sports throughout his life. He has been twice named Coach of the Year in New England’s top semipro basketball league played in Worcester. He was inducted into the New England Basketball Hall of Fame in 2013, and, upon his retirement from education and coaching in 2015, was presented with the MLK Award for the Lowcountry of South Carolina.
Since his retirement, Epstein has published three award-winning books: They Call Me Pathfinder-EDUCATION-BASKETBALL-EQUALITY, Jack “The Shot” Foley: A Legend for All Time with Togo Palazzi and Central Mass Basketball and his most recent one, CAPE DREAMS-A Season with the Brewster Whitecaps.
Epstein lives in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, with his wife Barbara, where they enjoy spending time with their children, grandchildren, and mini–Aussie Edith Ann.
